The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving. Does the Job 
I got this product for P90X. I had previously reviewed other watches on the internet through various sources. This one always seemed to be the best for the money. It is a good budget HRM and pound for pound one of the best. My only knock on it is that when I was doing push ups, the top right button was pressed up against the back of my left hand and this caused to stop the chrono timer thus stopping the data collection for review purposes, just briefly however. Since I've taken notice of this and I've kept this in mind whenever doing push ups or any other hand bending exercise and so far it has worked out. Other than that, the strap both on the watch and the wireless heart rate monitor are comfortable and tough. Waterproof too. Performance alone I would give it a quick 5 stars(hrm is accurate, calories, ect), but overall it merits 4 stars in my personal case. I would highly recommend this product too.
Good HRM, but inflated calorie counts
I've been using this HRM for about eight months. I haven't had any problems with it. Some people have complained about it being hard to read, but you can choose how you want the display to show things and make the heart rate reading the main thing on the screen.
My one issue is that the calorie counts are inflated. For example, I'll spend 30 minutes on the stationary bike and 30 minutes working on weight machines, and my HRM tells me I burn around 1600 calories in that time. That would be super-fantastic, but I don't believe it for a second.
I contacted customer support about the issue when I first started using my HRM, thinking it must be something wrong with my watch. The woman plugged my stats from a workout into the formula they use and got the same results my watch was giving me, so it's an issue with the formula they use in all their watches, not an error in mine. She said with my weight (in the 240s) and my incredibly fast heart rate (around 100 while resting, between 160 and 180 when I'm working out moderately, and frequently gets into the upper 180s and low 190s when I'm pushing myself a little harder) I'm going to burn a lot of calories but that the number may run a little high as a result of the unusual combination.
It's fairly aggravating because I track calories eaten and burned in workouts every day, and I don't have an accurate idea of what I'm burning in workouts. I just enter half of what the HRM says for tracking purposes, which is really completely arbitrary and isn't based on anything. I just figure it surely wouldn't be telling me I burned more than twice what I actually did, so I at least know I'm not overestimating calories burned if I put in half.
Nice product and good for health 
I bought my Timex TRH911 usign Amazon because I loosed a similar equipament that was so important to me. I got a good price and received quickly and perfect conditions.
Just what I wanted!
I went looking for a HRM and Amazon had the best selection. This model took some time to get set and figure out how to use it, but was worth it. I now have everything set and it's very comfortable to wear and work out with. I wanted to know how many calories I burned and it's perfect.
No more Polar HRMs for me!
The last Polar HRM I had died and I assumed it was the battery. Nope the whole thing died. So, I decided to get a Timex this time. I liked that the watch battery has a long life and you can change it yourself, vs mail it back to Polar. Also, the chest strap takes a AAA battery!! You don't need to mail it anywhere!
The use of this HRM is a little tricky. You HAVE to use the CHRONO feature or all you get is HR, no calories, etc. Now that I figured that out, I love this HRM. It gets a signal much faster than the Polar, and it seems accurate. I love the zone feature and the recovery feature that keeps track of how much your HR drops in the 1 or 2 minutes after you stop your workout.
This HRM is SO worth the money - equal in features to HRMs that cost hundreds more. I am very satisfied with this purchase!
